Hello, two questions:

1. Why not reuse your old thread?
2. Why use a gigantic image instead of just text?

Some thoughts from watching the video:

1.) You probably shouldn't show yourself actively entering in cheats and cheating in your trailer. This doesn't mean that you can't cheat in your trailer, but if you're just going to stand there and take fireball after fireball without taking damage, viewers aren't going to get invested. Use Buddha mode and pretend you're playing for serious!

2.) If you're going to advertise new sounds, you probably shouldn't drown them out with a gamerip of the Doom 4 soundtrack. Sound balancing, man!

3.) If you're going to advertise HD textures, you should probably show a map where they're not a buggy mess. I don't know what map set you were playing, but you should probably have played one where the switches weren't squished and the floor wasn't computers.

I'm not surprised about the responses, these kind of forums are just filled with a toxic community. Same as in programming forums or hacking forums.

People should focus more on having fun and enjoy the stuff im freely giving out instead Of complaining about senseless shit before even trying the stuff.

...huh? I'm just giving reasonable advice and suggestions based on my own experiences creating videos promoting my mods. I've learned a lot over the years, and wish to share what I know where I see something that could use a little work. If I was just going to mindlessly slag off your work, I wouldn't use so many words. :wink:

The "You can't provide criticism of this because it's free" defense doesn't really work in a community where everyone's work is free.

Half of the mod is from Very Bad Doom, so not surprising.

Doesn't mean you should. Also, why is there a lack of proper credits in the supposedly "DetailedCredits" file? John Romero didn't made Doom by himself. id Software of '93 did.

Sadly, a "DetailedCredits" file that's anything but detailed is a proud Brutal Doom tradition. There have been a number of times where I've had to hunt down the real authors of specific assets in that mod so that I could provide proper attribution for their use. Damn shame.

This seems more like a "Mod pack" rather than a mod, also if using an image to advertise I'd suggest doing something actually interesting rather than

PICTURE WITH TEXT, which looks great but then....
COLORED TEXT, like more of a pamflet style with gameplay images and diagonal text with exclamation

I'm a bit confused about your sudden turn in behavior, grabisoft, considering in your other thread you've been a lot more pleasant and a lot less...contentious. A lot of the stuff being brought up in this thread is legitimate criticism, and most folks are not being hostile or toxic towards you.
