Hey guys!
I recently was researching a way to make a OpenGL torch for a mod using dynamic lights. I got deep interested and with help form a friend I managed a way to make both OpenGl (using Dynamic lights) and Software (using A_GunFlash) Lighter Weapon.
The weapon must be held fire.
There is a slight chance of the doomguy gets his hand accidentally burnt (no punishments for that, he will just turn off the lighter, you can just turn it on again).
Spoiler:
The spawn id is: "Lighter" (ex: "summon Lighter")
The DoomED number is: 20000 (feel free to change that)
IF YOU WANT TO USE THIS ON YOUR WAD, FEEL FREE TO DO SO, JUST CREDIT ME OKAY?
Here is a video of the SOFTWARE version (The OpenGL one looks a way better)

This weapon will illuminate around you and make it easier to move in the dark.
Also, there is a Software version for players that play in software mode (Works pretty good!).
AND there is a Software and OpenGL version for servers to use (so both opengl and software players can use the weapon).
Sounds recorded by me using a lighter and a cellphone (then edited on audacity).
Loop sound from Soundcloud. (Quick Lighter on sound search)
Sprites are from Blood edited (gloved) by me.

Nice.

For when you need to have a light source, but a flashlight is too predictable.

Ahahaha, yeah!
As I said in the post, the difrence is the software version, so software players can still enjoy some dark environment light.
Also, I was tired of the lack of this stuff in doom community. I know doomguy is on space, but, can't he smoke a cigar? Ahaha
