Great. More people trying out Sombra.

As if there weren't enough shitty team comps. :V

Just go Junkrat or Roadhog in no-limits mode. Nice way to rack up some easy kills. :P

I loaded up Battle.net, and had a pending friend request. I approved it, the guy popped up in my friend's list and it said he hadn't been online in two years. This seems about right.

What’s even the point of enabling playing before the download is finished if you can’t do it before the download is 99% complete?

Considering -that- system was originally designed for WoW, not sure?

Jesus Christ. The voice acting hasn't gotten any more tolerable since I watched a launch era stream, every character has only got a single weapon, and I got auto-kicked from the offline training map due to "inactivity" while I was looking up what each character did. This is not an auspicious start.

Ugh. :( Yeah that is one thing I do not like about online-only games.

Still - once you get into it, I do find Overwatch to be a bit of fun. I think that the best way to find out what each character does is to go in the training map and just try each one out one by one, or play in AI games using them.

If you want - I can give you a list of heroes and a brief description of what they do.

Genji: Throws shuriken, dashes forward with a wakizashi doing damage, double jumps and climbs walls, has a giant futuristic odachi blade as ultimate that lasts 6 seconds and deals a shitload of damage.

Mccree: Shoots an extremely powerful revolver, but requires high accuracy to use properly. Can stun opponents using a flashbang, and dodge by doing a slide that also autorecharges his weapon. His ultimate is the Deadeye: you stare at enemies for a while until a skull appears on them, and when you click fire Mccree headshots all his marked opponents, killing them instantly.

Pharah: Shoots rockets, can boost jump high in the air, can hover with the jump button, and shoot a knockback concussion missile. Ultimate is an extremely deadly rocket barrage.

Reaper: uses twin shotguns, extremely deadly at close range, can phase walk becoming invulnerable for a short amount of time, can teleport at a moderate distance. Ultimate is Death blossom, shooting his shotguns in an area of effect around him.

Soldier 76: your typical CoD-inspired hero. Has a heavy pulse rifle that works just like a regular assault rifle, and shoots rockets with his alternate fire. Can sprint, heal himself and allies with a biotic field and has an aimbot as his Ultimate.

Sombra: Newest hero in Overwatch. She can turn invisible and sprint across the battlefield for a short amount of time, can place a teleport beacon that will stay active for 15 seconds, and you can teleport to it anytime (just like the UT Translocator). She can hack enemy abilities by holding the right mouse button for a couple of seconds, preventing the hacked enemy from using his abilities for a short amount of time. Her ultimate is the EMP, which disables shields, turrets, enemy ultimates and abilities in an area of effect.

Tracer: fastest offense hero, kinda comparable to TF2's Scout. She uses two auto pulse guns with a high rate of fire to deal high DPS at a short range. She can recall time, reverting damage and returning her to the last position in the 3 seconds before the activation of the ability. She can blink forward, instantly teleporting by a few meters. Her ultimate is a sticky pulse bomb that deals high damage.

This is an overview on the offense heroes currently present in Overwatch. More to come if I feel like doing more. :V

If you want an "easy-does-it" hero, go for Soldier 76. Plays like a modern FPS and is always useful.

I like when people complain about free weekends as if the newfags are going to ruin their games.

Because my quickplay MMR is so far away from anyone new that's going to be playing during that time that I can just sit back and watch the tears slowly trickle in from afar.

feels good man
