Just wondering if someone here has a dose of the W32.Klez.H@mm worm. Reason is, it was emailed to me last night (my NAV stopped it) and not many people have my email address but I've made it visible here.
If any of you have panmatos@hotmail.com in your address book or ICQ database, you might be the lucky one who needs to visit:
http://securityresponse.symantec.com/av ... .h@mm.html and follow removal instructions.
An interesting thing about this email worm is that it often spoofs where it's being sent from. If your computer is infected, the worm will compose messages to people in your address book or ICQ database and mail itself. In addition, it may pick random addresses from your data and put that address as the "from" address. I got the email from panmatos but that's someone unknown to me so if anyone knows that person, you should check your computer with the tool available at the above web address.
Got worm?
