What if someone made a PS2 TC for Quake 3?
Always wanted to play that version, but I don't like those fancy emulators. What do you think?

Re: What if someone made a Dreamcast TC for Quake 3?
All of the Dreamcast maps - both the cut-down Id maps and the nine exclusive ones - were officially, freely released as part of the primitive, short-lived attempts at cross-platform online play, and there was no other exclusive content like with the weird PS2 version. There wouldn't really be much of a point, outside of maybe replacing Sonic Mayhem's awesome music with Aubrey Hodge's DC buttrock.

yeah, the DC version's soundtrack is kinda... odd. on one hand, you got awesome shit like this from every other version, but then there's songs like this from Aubrey Hodges. technically not bad music at all (i mean, i did buy it if you look at the supporters for the album), but the intensity and production value of the two soundtracks are very different.

The PS2 version of Quake 3 was my first taste of Quake 3 so I'd likely jump on any kind of TC or map/model/gameplay pack available for it.
Well, if I played Quake 3 on the PC. The "ProMode" community more or less helped in killing my enjoyment of the game overall. x:

The skins are not the only thing, I'm much interested in that strange Campaign mode.

Re: What if someone made a PS2 TC for Quake 3?
That would require coding and extensive knowledge and high tolerance of the crappy Q3 UI system, for which there's about no one left that can, given the promode scene pretty much overran creativity out and killed off development interest, as well as the sharky repacky schoolchildren with pretentious Qlove.
You're better off playing the real thing right now if you want 'skirmish', 'stats upgrades' and 'ha ha fool i am vadrigar you cannot defeat me i am rule this arena you cannot neat us you cannot beat us'.

Aside from the fact that emulators can't run it properly anyway.

Yeah, sadly it's stuck on loading for me. And I don't even want to play on consoles, because Q3 is not a console game for sure.
