Check that there are absolutely NO stuck or intermittent buttons anywhere on your input devices. Keyboard keys, mouse buttons, triggers on game controllers.Abashi76 wrote:There is a glitch on my computer that makes me automatically shoot my gun, causing me to loose my ammo. Are you accidentally tapping the track pad with your wrist while you have your hand on the controls?

Trackpads are why I don't like laptops. Since the mouse is usually what you fire with, I would guess you're accidentally tapping it as well. Try using a USB mouse or something to verify this fact.

If you are using an USB mouse then check the trackpad driver's settings, there should be an option to disable it while a mouse is connected.

Start by going to your system settings or control panel. Then follow the flowchart below.

Re: There is a glitch that makes me automatically shoot
Why would it ever be in system settings? It has nothing to do with your core hardware or OS (this is not actually a Windows feature at all). It is in the control panel, logically in your mouse properties (because it's a mouse) under device settings (as it's a setting for your touchpad device).
Likewise, you'll also have a keyboard combination or button somewhere on your laptop to manually toggle the touchpad. If there's no independent button, look at your Fn combos.

That's assuming that the problem is his trackpad. It's a hopeful lead, but I honestly can't think of much else given how little information we've heard.

I didn't find it in control panel. I looked at the mouse settings. When i click on "Mouse and Keyboard Center", my computer says "No Device Detected".edward850 wrote:Why would it ever be in system settings?
