[The Intro]
Hey y'all! This is a weapon pack I made that was going to be for a larger project entitled "SUBLIME DOOM", because everything has to end in DOOM, right?.. Anyway I figured I'd release this as a standalone weapon pack for those who want to mess about with it and have fun. : ) Soo, the last time I worked on this was ages ago, I got demotivated and it's been sitting there kinda in a ready state for ages, so I figured I might as well release it now. Hopefully people will like it and I can regain inspiration for it.. : )
[The Mod]
So basically, this is a weapon pack containing pretty much 6 finished weapons in it, and 2 unfinished ones. (The unfinished weapons are the magnum, which needs balancing, and the supershotgun, which has no reload, and instead uses a massive tic gap between shots to compensate) The focus on this mod is to be perfectly balanced, with each weapon having a use, and happily being used in different circumstances or in lieu of the other ones, (Even the pistol can hold it's own : D) with not too many weapons vying for supremacy and cluttering things up.. And an added layer of difficulty/thinking, with the reloading.. - The weapons all include reloading. : D This is clip based reloading, so don't reload until you have to! Otherwise you will lose the clip! ; ) also recoil. The weapon categories all share a slot; the pistols are on slot 1, the shotguns are on slot 3, etc..
All weapons start off with a full clip when picked up, and each subsequent pickup will gain them another clip.
Some of these weapons I worked on more than others, some of them I added reload frames to, where as others I just centrered, and some of them I made myself or pretty much. But credits can be found below..
I also lowered the players speed a little, to stop ice skating around the maps. ; ) And I think I added height at the swap of taking off width or radius.
SUBLIME Weapon Pack 2 will add more weapons and it's own tricks and be it's own separate thing designed for more arcadey playstyle on a survival type game mode.. This one is the barebones version used for elite and tactical gameplay.
SUBLIME DOOM will eventually become a fully fledged gameplay-mod capable of this.. : )
Weapons have shared ammo types, 9mm are shared by pistols, and SMG, shells are shared between shotguns, etc, But you will only pickup ammo for the weapon you have out at the time. : D
[The Weapons]
CZG2000 (Pistol) The starting weapon, think doom pistol, but actually useful.. ; D 15 Shots, minimal recoil, and pinpoint accuracy. : D Starts off with 3 clips at the start.
MacPistol (Glock18) Fires like a bitch, but has insane recoil, and eats clips quickly, to be used only in close-quarters.
SMG - A nice middle ground between power and accuracy, with decent ammo capacity, useful at to medium range.
MagnumST55 - Unfinished, but, a powerful blast. ; P
AR - A dinky rifle, with low recoil and pinpoint accuracy on the first shot. (This weapon and the pistol are the only two to have pinpoint accuracy. ; )) Use this for long range battles.
ARG22 - A beefier rifle, but less steadfast..
SPAS12 - My Favourite. : D 8 shots of pure awesomeness, powerful up close, and decent at up to medium range!. Reload is one by one, so takes time. : D (Please swap and use this version if you are already using the SPAS12 that Z.Franz made available, this one is better, and Z.Franz was behind me making it..)
AutoShotgun (AA12) - Not finished yet.
DSG (SuperShotgun) - Unfinished 0 A Soul Destroyer.
Plasma Blaster - Not finished yet.
Rail Gun - Not implemented.
And that's it! I eventually plan to add tactical weapons like mines and placeable turrets, but that's then.. I don't plan to add any funky or crazy weapons or things that shoot out exploding missiles or anything like that.. Maybe a one shot rocket launcher, if you're lucky.. ; )
[The Disclaimer]
This mod contains quite a few glitches, as it is, as some of the ACS etc. was beyond my capabilities.. I get some error messages when picking up ammo some times, and I can't tell if the ammo in those cases is working. I also can't get the Magnum to work - equip. Also bullet cases offsets don't seem to be working. They were perfect at one point, but now it seems the more you fire the gun the more different palces it comes out from.. ; P I would be very grateful if people could help me with these issues.. Also I'm not sure shotgun shells looks like that when they come out.. ; P Like I said the focus of this mod is EXTREME balance so if you have any feedback on that let me know.. Thanks! : )

Saying that please don't use the sprites I/we made for any other projects. (Apart from the SPAS12, I know Z.Franz gave that away for people to start using it, and they did, but it was heavily wrong, so please use this version instead.. ; P )
