Randomly just now I went to log in and it said that I used the maximum login attempts and needed to solve a captcha or whatever. I literally just opened Firefox and entered my correct information the first time and it gave me this message. Forum bug or what?

Confirmed, this happened to me as well. I'm a bit disturbed. There don't seem to be any places I can read logs about failed attempts either...

This combined with the very recent Projects forum weirdness seems a bit concerning. Granted they may not be related at all, but still...

Same here too. And I'm pretty sure I typed my password correctly.

While I haven't attempted this yet, I will also mention that the forums seem a bit odd at times, taking anywhere from 1 to 3 seconds to load specific parts of the page -- could be anywhere from any post or thread to the reply box, etc.

I read the posts on the link in the OP and after reading most of them suggesting hackers attempting an attack I'm really worried.

Thought I was the only one who got this issue at first... I hope it's not anything important.

Just happened to me again today. So it's happened to me twice, which means someone or something must be trying to brute force passwords or there's something wrong somewhere that's incorrectly marking one attempt as being the max.

The last two times I've done it I haven't had this anymore.
