What's your main browser?
I use Chrome, but I like to try other browsers like Opera, Edge, and Firefox sometimes.

Main browser: MS Edge right now. I also use Chrome Portable quite a lot, it seems generally more stable, especially when downloading really large files. Hopefully, Edge will be improving, though last time I tried to download 80GB+ files, it never seemed to work on Edge.

Re: What's your main browser?
I'm sticking with Chrome, not so much out of loyalty to a brand, but because it's the browser that works best on my phone. I use a Google Account to synchronize bookmarks and the like, and it's handy to be able to sync tabs between phone and computer...something that Firefox doesn't do nearly as well, IMO.

Re: What's your main browser?
Personally, I use Chrome.
I remember Firefox used to have issues with multiple instances of Flash Player running at the same time. As in having 3 youtube videos play in 3 tabs. Not sure if that's still true. Lots of updates since then.
And chrome's downside is that it eats RAM for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Also, I've noticed that it forces sound on a 2.1 channel. Just in case someone's experiencing the same issue, put "--force-wave-audio --disable-audio-output-resampler" in the command line of the shortcut. Minus the quotes, of course.

I've been using firefox for quite some time. It has a bunch of addons that I am quite fond of. Having built-in ftp and irc things is pretty handy.

Firefox. I chose it because it's the fastest/least memory-hogging one that I'm aware of. Please, correct me if I'm wrong! (Seriously, I'm not being sarcastic here.)
I used to be a Chrome user, but I had a really bad day with it one time - lots of lag, computer heating up badly, pages not displaying correctly, etc. - so I made the switch over and haven't regretted it.

Chrome for much the same reasons as Wildweasel (except that I web-browse on a desktop far more often than on a phone). I use Firefox at work only because, like many charities, my employer is strapped for cash and the office computers are all running Vista
(Google have end-of-life'd Vista for Chrome purposes even though MSFT are not due to end-of-life Vista itself until next year).

I use Pale Moon, a lean, mean, fighting machine of a browser: https://www.palemoon.org/
It's based on Firefox, except without all the bloat and it retains the classic user interface look.

Unfortunately it's not entirely rid of Mozilla Chrome, but it's certainly not as bad as Mozilla Chrome is these days.maseter wrote:I use Pale Moon, a lean, mean, fighting machine of a browser: https://www.palemoon.org/

Opera since it crashes the least in my experience.
