What internet service do you use?

Just out of curiosity, I'd like to know what internet service you guys use.

Since we just moved, we don't have internet right now, but we're getting Charter.

Comcast is unfortunately the only company which services my apartment complex with any kind of reasonable speed or reliability. Thankfully we've been able to keep our "promo" rate for several years now with judicious begging, so it's also the least expensive option. Haven't had any real issues, and they've bumped our speeds considerably since Google Fiber is setting up shop nearby (even though I wouldn't be able to get it anyway).

I actually have no complaints about the service itself, and the speed is actually pretty good for what we pay ($45, 60Mb down). no outages or anything like that. I just dislike Comcast on principle and wish there was something competitive.

Our household has been with Frontier ever since Verizon sold all their home internet service in this area to them half a decade ago. No real notice, just randomly told "Hey, you're Frontier customers now!" Since then we've had to deal with the occasional outage, and bizarre discrepancies in bandwidth....not to mention unfair pricing.

I live near Portland, and they're supposedly getting Google Fiber eventually, so I hope that gives our local ISP something to be afraid of.
