You've probably heard about this now and again. This could be fake for all we know but they did file a patent very similar to this concept a while back.

My thoughts? PLEASE be fake, That looks awful. Platformers and other fast paced games cannot be enjoyed with a touch screen instead of physical buttons: It just ruins the game for me.

Most likely to be a fake. Historically speaking, very few "leaked" Nintendo designs have ever been real, and they're quite good at keeping their cards close to their chests. Also, it's worth noting that it's extremely rare that a finished product looks exactly the same as its patent.
