Since 2015, i do some festival with my "Retro-Games LAN" stand, where i host retro/classic fps in deathmatch!
I use laptops in LAN (with router) but i add a keyboard/mouse and headphone for each pc.
I hosted BLOOD, Heretic, Hexen and Shadow Warrior in the Toulouse Game Show in the end of 2015!
Spoiler:Last one was this weekend, but i was allowed to use the "librairy part" of the festival (beside the main hall). So i installed the games on the pc (not laptops), but i deleted the games when it was over (with deleting the session of Windows where there is the games).
Spoiler:As you can see, even if people don't know those games nowadays and just a little, they can like it a lot!
The stand are really always active and people like it, deathmatch, respawn and ruuuuun fast and shoot everywhere with a lot of weapons, so fun !
I hosted samsara doom too, with extraheroes, even if it's unbalanced, i advised people to use the strongest (like caleb, lo wang, kyle katarn and others others), but still pretty playable and really fun ! ^^
