I think I may be infected

So when I logged on Chrome suddenly had Skype as an extension despite me just downloading it as a hard file and not a Chrome extension, then the next time I rebooted it this MSN plugin appeared, I disabled that too. My computer began getting awfully slow now when it boots up and then my background was changed to pitch black for a short period until I reseted my theme.

Then each time I was logged out of Steam when normally it would always log me in, I'm honestly worried now.

I don't want to lose this brand new laptop just 2 months after having it. What's going on here?

Have you thought of resetting your laptop back to factory condition?That's all I can think of, aside from using your antivirus.Either way, I'm sure someone can give you better advice.Good luck to you!
