Who owns the copyright for Doom64?

Post by Doom Juan »

Doom 64 was released by Midway Games on March 31, 1997.

In February 2009, Midway Games filed in Delaware for bankruptcy.

Warner Bros. purchased most of Midway's assets (including Mortal Kombat), and Midway settled with Mark Thomas to relinquish his Midway stock and debt.

Does that mean that Warner Bros. potentially holds the rights to Doom 64 :?:

Does anyone have any information on this?

Does it really matter. All they've done in the past is to let it rot - and that will most likely continue.

Williams Electronics would be my first guess given they were the publisher for every other console doom port in the '90s, and was a directly related company to Midway.

Of the rereleases of 90's console dooms, i've only seen the PSX Dooms pop up on the PSN store for PS3.
