In all honestly though, I think badfics are a very fun and a real favorite genre (if I'm even allowed to call it that) of mine. There's something sublime about a work that willingly rides the knife edge of absolute awfulness while still remaining something entertaining. Like that Garfield video, for example, it's stupid as fuck but also funny and kind of amazing to imagine Garfield going all super mode and tearing the shit out of people. It's also kind of nice to see a work you enjoy being torn to shreds in the most bizarre fashion. Now I'll never see Garfield again without thinking about him ripping guards in half and quoting Dragon Ball.

Animated adaptation also available, although it deviates from the original script at several points, as it's intended as a parody, unlike the original fic which was apparently more sincere in intent. Somehow.

And, of course, who could forget HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH? (Although, I personally think the first 3 chapters are the best; Basically a death metal album cover in story form. After that it just becomes too surreal for me.)
