Re:Doom [aka my first mod that honestly isnt that good]

Projects that alter game functions but do not include new maps belong here.
Forum rules
The Projects forums are only for projects. If you are asking questions about a project, either find that project's thread, or start a thread in the General section instead.

Got a cool project idea but nothing else? Put it in the project ideas thread instead!

Projects for any Doom-based engine (especially 3DGE) are perfectly acceptable here too.

Please read the full rules for more details.

Hey! An update? Just a small one. Backpacks occasionally spawn the rare zombie marine, this helps with maps that don't use dead marine corpse decorations very much.

Hello Everyone, remember that not so good mod I made, "Collectors Arsenal?" yeah, that wasn't very good. that's why I bring you... Re:Doom! [name pending.] I made this mod as a sort of spiritual successor to the previous one and is actually somewhat good!
This mod instead of the previous with just lots of poorly implemented drops from enemies, this includes well...mainly just lots of tweaks that I have always wanted in an official doom game or mod, or small changes to make it seem more like doom64 like nightmare imps and revenant rockets; along with various other things I may add in the future.

NOTE: If something seems off, unbalanced, bad, or whatever else, please leave some criticism in the thread; I will try to check in often and see if I can iron out anything off with the mod. But in the meantime, have fun! :D

Things you will find in this mod.
-Some enemies have special counterparts that occasionally spawn
E.G: Nightmare Imp, Phantom, Jetpack Revenant, Etc.
-Some enemies drop special weapons only obtainable from killing them
E.G: Mancubus Cannons, Arachnotron Plasma Rifle, Obvious "Secret" weapon from Obvious "Secret" Enemy  , Etc.
-Some corpses may not be corpses
E.G: Some corpse decorations like dead marines or dead cacodemons may be replaced with their living counterpart!
-Probably a few other minor things that don't come to mind at the moment!

I have only listed a few on this list just to give an example, there are way more enemies and weapons to be found in this package.
Credits are all listed in the credits lump included in the wad. (If I missed any credits or got some wrong, let me know and I will update them)

anyway enough of that, you probably want to try this out now, so here it is!

You should look into proper PK3 structure organization. Read up on it here. PK3s inside of themselves or wads are going to screw up memory management.

Oh, I knew about pk3's but I didn't know about the whole memory usage thing with wads. I will update the link shortly as a pk3 file.

EDIT: File Updated
