Gonna be honest here, this is literally just a poor man's trailblazer. It's pretty awful, with none of the care or attention TB has. Nothing feels nice to use, sprites look comparatively janky to the source material.

Ouch.. I havent played this yet.. but I have to agree with Cryomundus. Unless you plan to incorporate your own elements into this mod, such as your own weapons, sprites or gameplay changes, then it doesn't look very well. That HMG is atrocious. Is this a gameplay mod, or a set of custom levels for Trailblazer? I haven't played TB either, I'm very picky about my gameplay mods.

Having not played this (no free time to do so as of yet), I really feel like commenting on those muzzle flashes. Somehow, I don't think they're working well as muzzle flashes; they feel more like light coronas, which is an effect that I tend to turn off in my games because it's distracting and often doesn't look good to me.

I'll make a point of actually playing the mod soon, though.

I don't know why did I think this was a mod aiming for a "Doom movie" feel/gameplay.

Does it have giant explosions at the start of the map while you're aimed with a highly automatic assault rifle blasting goonies while smoking a cigarette with a wife-beater on?

Well, it needs some work; its pretty unpolished and unbalanced. the action on the weapons feel sort of chunky, and really it just feels like other mods.

Although i agree with everything said by the other users about the weapon sprites, i liked that city level a lot.

Just to clarify, this doesn't include any levels, and is not relared to Trailblazer bar a few graphics.

EDIT: This is really just a quick distraction from the duke mod to keep me modding.
EDIT: The shotgun is not working right in this release, I'll fix it in a bit.

Alright.

-The weapons pitchy recoil is way too heavy.
-The muzzfle-flashes could me a little more... harder. Right now, they just seem like little lens-flares.
-Give the casings stronger gravity and a sound.
-Honestly: It's just a cut-down version of TrailBlazer. All the weapons completely work like the TB-ones. They even use similar/the same graphics and hands.
-Also, something with the Shotgun: It's primary fire doesn't match it's sprite at all. It looks like a classic shotgun, but fires Sci-Fi freeze-lazers. (TB's Shotgun is weird in that way too).
