I want Lumps!

Well, okay, rather...
demos.

Does anyone happen to know of any zDoom-compatible demo archives?
Sometimes you just gotta watch... :D

2. I'm interested in researching demo stuff; I'd like to see how feasible it'd be to make a Dos Doom -> zDoom-compatible demo file converter.

I know it won't be a cakewalk, but if anybody knows about the 'original' .lmp file format, or the one zDoom currently uses, gimme a buzz! Documents, programs with source, a standalone parser, personal experience... anything to jumpstart the thing would be most appreciated.

I'd be nice to be spared having to examine the source code as the very first step!

Thanks-in-advance!

People probably aren't too keen on ZDoom demo recording because of its history of suddenly having a new version every day of a given week.

Most betas are backwards compatible now but it's only recently the demo recording bug was fixed.

No. Apparently I recorded a demo of Fbase6 with 2.0.47 and it went out of sync in 47i, _though_ it played there.

if anyone likes to check what is causing the sync.
