You run 2.0 just as 1.23(b33). The basic options have not changed since Vanilla Doom (id software's), like -file and/or -warp, etc.

Get an operating system! Win98 (at least the SE) and XP open them with a simple double click. It was even possible to get the oldest win 95 to open them with a little dohickey from the MS site.
Like HotWax, I use Winzip as well. All I'm saying is your OS quite possibly supports them already.
