This is a edit of samsara monster mixer, which adds new monsters and improves monster placements.

What is monster mixer? I'ts a add-on for samsara which spawns diferent monsters from the heroes games. (i.e guard from wolfenstein sometimes spawns in place of zombieman)

Hey, it’s nice to see you made a topic about your monster mixer wad, but I have to tell you things that need to be discussed.
First, the name of your wad. Whenever you update your wad by adding more monsters and fixing stuff, you should change the name to Samsaramonstermixer-v0.16. Another update, Samsaramonstermixer-v0.17. Another update, Samsaramonstermixer-v0.18 and continue on until you updated it for the final time (unless it’s just a fixing update, then samsaramonstermixer-v0.15b and so on) rather than keeping the name to Samsaramonstermixer-v0.15a whenever you keep updating, but that just me.

Now for the problems I have with this version. One minor problem, one minor/major problems, and one major problem.

First is the minor problem. I see you put back the Sabreclaw (Clink) in the Weredragon (Beast) placement in Heretic. I thought it have its own placement, rather than another monster placement, since it is a Heretic monster. Remove it from that placement again, please?

Now for the minor/major problem. The Alien Queen. I see you put voltock Duke 3D Alien Queen in this, and I have no problem with that, but the problem is the attack. Look, I see what you did with it, not adding the projectile sprite from that wad, looks like she using a hitscan attack like she did in the original Duke Nukem 3D Atomic Edition because she doesn’t have a projectile attack, but in your monster mixer wad, she still attacks you with a projectile attack and the projectile is invisible. Yeah, maybe you can’t fix it, but I think it’s still a problem.

Now for the major problem. It’s the Protozoid Slimer. In this wad, when you touch the Slimer when it notices you, it disappears, doesn’t get in your face, it just disappears. And well, in voltock Duke Nukem 3D wad, there’s a bug with the Slimer. If it gets you and you kill it, the kill stat won’t work properly. Like say the stat for the kill count is monster: 32/33, If it gets you and you kill it, it’ll still says monster: 32/33 (if you don’t know where the stats for kills and secrets, look in your automap, it’s in the top left corner), and in invasion, when you touch it, it gets in your face, and you kill it, it’s over, you lose, impossible to beat the invasion maps now, and the Slimer in your wad is no exception except it just disappears when you touch it.

So yeah, those are the problems I have with this wad. I hope you fix those (maybe the Protector Drones are another problem since their attack won’t shrink you and the monsters, but if you can’t make every monsters (except bosses of course) and every character, then I understand. Maybe ask Untitled if he knows how to do it.) Anyways, if you can’t fix those two (or three with the Protector Drones) problems, then I found a few wads that might help you or not if you know how to. Anyways, there’s the Invasion wads that has the Overlord and there is the ZDoom Wars Duke 3D faction, but since it’s a ZDoom wars wad, it has ZDoom Wars stuff on them, so that is a problem, but if you can somehow (and I mean somehow) manage to get the Overlord, Alien Queen, and a better Protozoid Slimer (it may not have the face attack, but when you touch it, it won’t disappear) (it even has the turrets if you want to add them too) in this and remove the ZDoom Wars stuff to them (like remove the health bars for the Overlord and Alien Queen, make those two dead bodies stay for good rather than their dead bodies stay for a few seconds and then disappear, maybe the Alien Queen will birth the ZDoom Wars Protector Drones rather than the ones you use in your wad, so maybe remove the one in your wad and add the ZDoom Wars one, but get rid of the mana they drop when they die, also remove the mana for the Overlord, Alien Queen, and the Protozoid Slimer when they die, get rid of the cooldown functions and messages that appears on the screen (the “insert boss” has join the fray, the cooldown messages, and the “insert boss” has been slayed), make them freezable and zorchable, get the monster stat to work properly for them (like for example: the map for the stat has monsters: 0/55, summon the Overlord/Alien Queen/Protozoid Slimer, the kill stat says monsters: 0/56, and kill the Overlord/Alien Queen/Protozoid Slimer, the kill stat says monsters: 1/56), and finally, make them stay alerted even when you’re far away rather than get them alerted, go far away from them so that they won’t notice you, and they stop moving), then I will be amazed, but that might not be possible. As for the Overlord, if you can’t get the ZDoom Wars one due to the stuff on it, then one of the invasion wads will do it, I guess. I could give you links to those wads if you want to at least give it a try.

Just remember, since it's invasion wads, these aren't for ZDoom. Armageddon2v63 wad and Invuled_b72_Arm_2.6.3_Merge are probably the ones you only need. These are for Skulltag. the Armageddon wad works with Zandronum, but you'll need Skulltag data and Skulltag Actors in order for it to work properly.

And if you want the ZDoom Wars one just to give it a try, then here's the link (just to note that the only way you need to play offline is Zandronum, use doomseeker, create a server, make sure for the executable is on zandronum.exe where you put it, also for the IWAD is Doom 2 wad of course, get skulltag data and skulltag actors, ZDoomWarsIv2.6d, and this wad, put the wads in additional wads and files, and then click play offline. I try playing the wad with the other wads without doomseeker, but it doesn't work.)

the wad is call "duke3dfaction2.2.wad". just scroll down to du, and you'll find it. there are other duke3dfaction wads you'll see, but get this one because it has the Alien Queen and Protector Drones attacks right, but this is only if you want to get it just to try it, if not, then simply ignore this.

Hey, I know it's been like 9 months since your last post. since you're last post, but I just want to note you about something. The Octobrains will not spawn from their placements in Heretic, Hexen, and any of the Dooms. There suppose to appear in the Cacodemon placement in Doom, Disciple of D'Sparil (Wizard) placement in Heretic, & Reiver (Wraith) placement in Hexen, but however no matter how many times i play this, they don't show up.
