You've seen them around. You know about them, and you look through them. Resource threads. This time, it's my resource thread!
I've been in the Doom scene for a year or two, and in that time I've made many things ranging from sprite sheets to entire maps. I will admit, my skills have improved gradually through time and I mainly spend my Doom time making sprite sheets for weapons and other graphics. Seeing how I've got resources strewn about my computer collecting dust, I figured I'd post them for the ZDoom community to use! Poke around and use what you must, but remember to give credit! All of my work is free to use, and it can be used as needed.
Brutal Plasma Rifle:
The plasma rifle from Brutal Doom, ripped and Doom-handed by myself. Credit to Sergeant Mark IV for the original plasma rifle sprites.
"Reaper" BD SSG:
A super shotgun for Brutal Doom that I created in Biology class, actually. It's basically the Blood SSG adapted to fit Brutal Doom.
Model 1887 Brutal Doom SG:
A simple shotgun made for Brutal Doom, with the intention of expanding the game a little bit. Use as needed.
Brutal Hand Grenade:
Created for the abandoned project "The Brutal Arsenal", which I was the creator of. This doesn't have much of a use outside of Brutal Doom, unless you want black, fingerless gloves.
My World, My War:
Originally created by JoeyTD, I felt that this sheet deserved some proper Doom-Handing. After removing the military hands and adding the originals, I came up with this.
Taken from a request thread and re-handed. 'Nuff said.
What if Flynn picked up severed arms and hands from dead corpses and made them into a demonic weapon?
I downloaded several models from GameBanana to use in CS:S, and wound up ripping them with Milkshape 3D. After that, I Doom-handed the first frames of their animations.
Killing Floor 9mm Pistol:
After playing with Killing Floor models in the SDK, I decided to make a model rip and eventually port the weapon to Doom. This is what happened.
Also made for Imp Attack. The original idea goes to TwinkieGuy.
Napalm Launcher / Flamethrower:
Made only recently from several weapons I found.
Created for Imp Attack. The SSG could be considered pump-action, if you consider the fact that pumping releases the two shells.
Eyesore HUD Sprite:
Ghouls vs. Humans is too complicated to mod for me, but I did manage to make this HUD sprite. I'd intended to make an unofficial Eyesore class, but it never happened.
After realizing that the Ghoul's Forest lighter used Caleb hands, I eagerly popped some Doomguy hands onto the item. Simple.
Doom 64 Reloads:
I found some Doom 64 reload sprites on the forum, and I decided to replace the hands with the original Doom PC hands. I forget the original author, so forgive me. The original author is Cage, apparently.
A unique shotgun taken from a Counter-Strike: Source weapon mod and ported into Doom. Youtube: Original Weapon
Demonic Minds Weapons:
Weapons from the abandoned project "Demonic Minds", but with the original brown Doom hands.
I took the pistol from the Mac version of Wolf3d and added Brutal Doom hands onto it. Maybe it can be used.
With inspiration from Hexen's mage, I decided that Flynn deserved some magic of his own. These wound up being trashed, but I still have them today.
XS: Doom-Handed Weapons:
Doom-handed weapons from the old game "XS". First frames only.
Requested by TiberiumSoul. Made for Brutal Doom and classic Doom. Versions with and without the UAC text.
Following Scuba Steve's muzzleflash tutorial, I made a few of my own. Use as needed, no credit.
While I didn't make the original sprites at the top, I made an edit to the sheet. I removed the magazine and drew onto it, making a drum mag for the second sprite. Shell included.
Super Nailgun Edit
I attempted to make a frame that'd fit between the two for smooth animation, but I realized it needed more rotation frames. I scrapped that idea, but I went on to make a reload animation for it.
Duke Card Hand:
Another from-scratch hand that I've done. This time, it's the Duke card hand. I've created actual WAD files for most of these weapons, and I might dig them up to post on this thread.
An angled version of my Splayer Shotgun, made for ZT2.
A slightly edited reload sprite for ravage's double-barreled Thrasher, turning it into an angled sprite.
A Doom-handed version of an uzi that someone sent. The_Funktasm, I think.
In the process of coming up with a hand design for ZT2, I whipped this up. Maybe it could serve as inspiration.
Shat out of 3DS Max with minor touch-ups.
M79 Grenade Launcher - Idle
Another modelrip from 3DS Max, slightly touched up and ready to go.
Killing Floor MP5
Made with TEXTURES in mind, using Marty Kirra's SureShot rifle as a base.
Killing Floor SCAR
Even more modelrips.
An attempt to cleanly widescreen-ify another attempt someone did. Kinsie, I think.
Shadow Warrior re-hand
I should re-hand more SW sprites.
Spoiler: Monster Materials
Riding on Imps:
Made as a full-sheet concept. If imps can ride pinkies and cacodemons, can't they be ridden by Marines? Use as needed. It'd be a funny skin.
Harlequin / Flame Imp:
Harlequin sounds close to what the original name was, but I forget what I called him. This was made for the abandoned project "Imp Attack", and the monster shot out in bursts of three fireballs. Upon death, it displayed that one frame and burst into giblets. (Included.) Updated with a standard death animation, by request. I've also included red giblets and blood in case you want a "normal" monster.
A monster created for Imp Attack. I called him the Cyber-Imp because he carried a rocket launcher.
The Hexen pig with Flynn's face popped onto the body. Maybe it could be used as a joke playerclass.
Created on the same idea base as the Doom Piggy.
Created for my KFDoom mod by slapping a randomized gradient on default sprites.
Also known as vagina zombie, I wonder why. Created for Zombie Torrent 2.
X-COM: Power Armor
That junky power suit from the original X-COM games. For The_Funktasm's X-COM mod.
Green Gameboy Imp
Alternate Guard Death
Made for an abandoned wad I was making, but scrapped because of the quality.
Made for Zombie Torrent 2. Still not quite finished yet, but it's getting there.
Made for that mod again.
I have no idea why I made this.
Made for ZT2. Zombies, zombies, and more zombies.
More zombie junk.
Spoiler: Other Junk
Noir Wall Bloodwork:
I go by NoirSuccubus in some areas, and this was made for a secret in one of my maps. It's my username painted on the wall with blood, nothing special.
A series of sign textures that I'd made for various uses. These hang from the ceiling, and act as directional markers. Included is a blank sign for custom text.
Sjas DCC Sheet:
Made as a reference to the SCP: Containment Breach game. This would probably be used as an on-screen hudmessage, but it could be used for a texture too.
An avatar that I made for the Forums. Maybe it could be used as an easter egg.
Demons and Marines:
Something that I made for a map texture, although it could be used in other places too.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------- Maps: -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Obsidian Fortress A cooperative map that I created from boredom, as well as the urge to experiment with new textures. Credit for all resources goes to the original authors. This map was designed with Skulltag in mind, but the worst you'll get by using ZDoom is a few missing actors and a bad texture or two. This map also had the name "Dark Memories". Spoiler: Weapon-Related Wads
BrutalPak: Tripled A small weapon pack for Brutal Doom that I made in my spare time. This contains a Quake 1 Grenade Launcher, the Reaper SSG, and a Pistol. All credits for resources go to their original owners. Screenshot Gallery Download Link
The Demon's Arsenal A somewhat serious weapon pack that I'd worked on for about a week or so before abandoning. This contains many weapons, some with actual "good" laser pointers. (By the way, this is the weapon mod with the imp-riding ability.) Credits for all graphical and audible resources go to their original authors, as always. Screenshot Gallery Download Link
Molotov Cocktail Doom lacked a proper Molotov Cocktail, and I decided to take the duty of making one. I put some Doom hands onto a pre-made Molotov sprite and did some DECORATE myself. This is what became of it. The actor's name is "Molotov Cocktail" in quotes. Screenshot Gallery Download Link
Mysterious Magnum The revolver from Fallout: New Vegas, ported to Doom. It was TwinkieGuy's idea, and I made it happen. Sounds are included. Screenshot Gallery Download Link
Brutal Arsenal v10 Bugfix #2: The last version of the Brutal Arsenal that I can find. This is a small weapon pack for Brutal Doom designed to expand the game a little bit. Apparently, the sniper rifle doesn't have an alt-fire. Screenshot Gallery Download Link
This is really pretty darn good, but there are quite a few sheets that have no mention of the original authors -- the Splayer, for instance, is based on the shotgun from Legacy of Suffering, but Logan MTM isn't mentioned anywhere.

I actually used the single screenshot of the Pulse Nailgun on the Realm667 Armory. If that's what it's called, anyway. I should get credits.
