Hello again, thanks for the comments and sugerences, but, enough of words and more updates.

Thanks to the comments below I added and fix a lot of stuff in the mod:

-New rocket explosion (if you see the video of Neo Genesis is that explosion)
-New Plasma ball effects
-New BFG ball effects

-Flying blood
-LMG Recoil
-SSG reload time

First of all, thanks, the forum helped me to create the mod.

I've been watching the forum for a while and finally I decided to create mods for DOOM,

The mod just replace the original weapons with new ones, add new effects and etc.

I found the kick from the LMG a bit too much and the rocket launcher is not wide-screen friendly. Also, no decals. All that being said, it's a nice little mod. The weapons feel quite satisfying to use and there are some nice ancillary effects too. Definitely a well put together little mod and certainly good for a first go.

I like this mod; it seems like you made the weapons more powerful - did you?

I agree with Enjay about the LMG's kickback, it is too much. I like how you implemented the Freediew style blood, it looks good.

I also noticed that your blood is not effected by gravity:


You forgot to add -NOGRAVITY to NewBloodFlying

Along with everything everyone else said, the double barreled shotgun's delay between its reload and being ready is a bit long, you would be able to get two or three pump shotgun shots in before the whole animation ends.

A nice, simple aesthetic weapons update that keeps the old styles and adds a bit more punch? Sounds good to me. I'll give it a shot. Any further efforts to refine or add new elements once you've gotten more experienced would be much appreciated.

EDIT: You might wanna mention the Pistol needs reloading; that, and a larger magazine would be great. If there's anything I dislike about conventional weapons that need reloading it's having to reload frequently in the middle of a large fracas. Also, a plasma rifle that uses bullets as a secondary function? Very unexpected. I would've preferred a secondary function that also uses plasma shots, but the idea might grow on me with time. With some refinement and a little uniformity in weapon functionality (like reloading and secondary functions) this would be the perfect realization of my ideal "French Vanilla Doom" mod. It works great with Brutal Lite, too! :twisted: Great work for a first attempt!

Yes, I made that mod, I was working in the two mods for a while but I had a little problem with my lap and I lost Neo Genesis except the hands and the Thompson and a few base sprites.

I could made again but it take's me a little time.

Wow, this is your FIRST MOD? My first MOD isn't turning out as nicely as I want it to :(. I'm currently working on a difficulty MOD, nothing very complicated. I'm starting with the simple stuff.

My god, where in the heck are you getting some of your sprites? They look perfect in doom! Also I have heard that there were more gore mods other than Brutal doom and Nashgore, although I don't see why no-one has made a mod that perfectly recreated the gore system in Quake 1 and 2 that basicly caused the enemies to blow up into bloody chunks. (Bloody chunks beats Blood gushers any day of the week!)

shotgun can be reloading after 6 or 7 rounds,lmg this can have ammo belt at 100 rounds capacity ...

Edit:colt 1911a1 in this can be: colt 1911 using doublestacked magazines[12-14 rounds] or para ordonance p14-45 hicapa ... see shepard sidearm in stargate atlanntis ...
