What's the wad(s) with your favorite music?

Yep, I really don't think it has been bettered.

Requiem has some pretty good tracks in it, my personal favorite being Jacob's Staircase (map06).

I'm partial to Hacx, myself. Long, progressive, epic tunes. It felt like christmas when some of the original musicians got back together and one of them (Jim Lynch) released a set of unused midis that are every bit as awesome as the other ones.

Other than that, STRAIN comes to mind. And Icarus, of course. Though anything with Jimmy music is gold, too.

Memento Mori 2, hands down. Requiem and GothicDM have great tracks too. Klem's tracks on top.

I would have to say DeathDestiny's Elysion Wad. It's only one level but the music is amazing to me.

For many years after I started playing DooM in early 1994 my computer had no sound card, so all I got were the computer speaker sounds. Plus, I'd play DooM during my lunch break at my job, and I had to turn the speakers off. I became accustomed to playing with no sound and no music, and I am often oblivious to music even when I play nowadays. However, I'd have to say that I'm with Xaser about Hacx. I also like the music from Eternal DooM III.

Having said all of that, Jeff Ligda's music for DooM is very enjoyable.
