[Music] Highway Hunter

Post by Pandut »

After taking massive dosage of Nostalgia, I decided to nab the OST of one my favorite childhood games; Highway Hunter. Very old game, top-down shooter where you're in a car and you have to blow shit up. It was published by Epic MegaGames Inc (Known today as Epic Games Studio) and was just generally a very simple and fun game.

^If you have no idea what I'm talking about.

So, after spending about three hours playing through each level and recording the music with SFX turned off (Well worth the pain in my ass). I managed to record all of the tracks, including the title and Level passed/failed songs. Since I recorded them directly from the game, they are VERY high quality although some of them have a few distinct clicks in them which there is nothing I can do about that yet :(.

^Download link. Be warned -- They are in .mp3 format. (Link might be a little hooey, Gamefront is being weird atm)

I might try and nab some music from someone of my other favorite games, like Space Crusade or Vinyl Goddess. Depends if I can find em' though.

oh, highway hunter! heh, It's been a very very long time since I last played it. I think I have the music ripped in CMF format (from the demo, though). I'll check this out, anyways. :3

Heeeeeeeeeeeey! I know you :3. I asked you on your channel if you were going to upload the rest of the OST. I'll admit I recorded the tracks from your vids first, but they weren't very high quality so I got the game and recorded the tracks from it myself. So yeah, I did rip it myself :P.

Also, your channel does not have the entire soundtrack. You're missing a few of them :P.

Oh yeah, I remember now. I left a few out because they really got on my nerves.

I think I had a zip of the OST on my computer

Also, there's youtube to mp3 converters that you can use to download videos with much higher quality than trying to record them.
