I like to go at a random Spanish web site and post in English, too.

(Translation: Speak English)

A waste of time for all intents and purposes. Looks like this is the author's first level.
Yeah, it sucks, sorry. Why did you release a map that has virtually no gameplay (or detail for that matter)?

From what I can gather, its an awfully simplistic show off of what GZDoom can do. Basically, just putting all Doom actors in rooms. Calling it GZ is almost an insult, though, since it shows nothing specific to even ZDoom. Except some particles fountain.
He mentions decorate but he doesn't use it.
Apparently we're to expect something else from him. 2 episodes. I'm not eager.

Sí no tú puedes hablar inglés, usar
Google Translage para traducir a inglés. También, no debes pegar WADs de prueba aquí; prueba tú mismo.
(Hablo poco español; mi gramática probablemente es mala.)

Not to defend the author, but I like it when people waste a post complaining about how other people post in a different language than you do. It's virtually the same thing as someone complaining about how someone else's posts are illegible in your opinion or offensive to you in the same topic instead of actively contributing to said topic. I can agree that this topic is probably not the best place to contribute, so why choose to angrypost when you could not look like a big jerk trying to scare away someone who posts differently than you do and instead not bump his topic?

Because I'm free to post what I think? I really don't care if everybody thinks I'm a jerk. Maybe I actually want to look like a big jerk trying to scare away someone who posts differently than I do. And I have no idea how bumping this topic is relevant when its still at the top.

And everyone else is free to judge.

My point was that bumping a topic just to say "Hey, I'm going to post something that doesn't mean anything at all to the topic at hand" is probably a worse thing to do than not posting at all. Just a suggestion.

Zhs2, SFJake has all the right to complain. After all, this is an English-language forum, and posting in Spanish here makes about as much sense as posting in English at a Spanish forum.

You can't be defending him. You said you liked that SFJake did that!

Plus everyone can google translators, so there's really no excuse other than laziness... Both on the author and the replyer's parts!
My point was really why be rude in any language? It's just unnecessary and it looks bad on the people who post it!

I dunno -- to me, it's common sense that if forum X is in language Y, then it's common courtesy to use language Y when posting in X. The entire point of posting on a forum is to communicate with others, and it's really counter-productive to obfuscate communication by using a language that's not the primary, intended one. It'd be like writing an example in COBOL at a C++ programming help forum. Sure, you can Google the syntax, but...
Besides, the "use a translator; don't be lazy" argument can just as easily be said about the original post. At the very least, it would've been better to have put it through a translator in the first place than to make everyone else do it.

Alright, guys, enough. Posting in languages other than English is only listed under Guidelines, not Rules. Being rude, however, is covered under the actual Rules. So please quit the arguments. =P

I'm tempted to start arguing with y'all in Swedish now, just to be a dick.
But eh, I won't. Not fun to argue with anyone if the person can't understand what I'm saying.
