I don't suppose this means you're getting at all close to a release?

You did! Although there is a way to 'fix' your mistake you are *not* supposed to destroy that thing! Around the corner there is a room with another broken power coupling - without any need to fight those Acolytes that teleport in!

I'll say, full strife support, decorate goodies, and um skyboxes? So... is this all in the name of .64 or do we finaly make the jump to version 2.1?

Well, like has been discussed before, there will surely be a few things that won't work (correctly) in .64; therefore, there will probably be at least a .65, and probably all the way up to .68 before we have a "final release"--if anyone is even waiting for a 'final release' anymore. I think the only real benefit of a "non-beta" version would be the network play. ST, ZD, and maybe even CS would likely update, if there were a new "standard" version to upgrade to. That could be nice for those who play online.

I'm not sure I'd count on full Strife support just yet. Maybe quite a bit, but unless Randy's very very very busy, I wouldn't expect Strife to be fully playable in 64.

Why not? It isn't really that much that is still missing. Randy already said he had the code for all line types and what remains are a few unimplemented items and sector specials. I think that a few minor issues aside it might well be possible that it is playable.
