Description:
	If anyone has ever heard of the Disposable Heroes: MAD mod for Quake II, then you can probably guess what this is all about. For those who don't though, DH: MAD replaced every weapon in Quake II with rocket launcher weaponry. Each salvo shot different types of rockets, and there was nothing but rockets to shoot. However, the weapons used up the regular ammo (cells, slugs, etc) besides rockets. You start with all weapons, but almost no ammo. Gotta go find that ammo! While plenty, to balance it out, the consumption rate was also a bit higher for the weapons. And if I recall correctly, the monsters shot the same stuff the player did, albeit modified.

Weaponry:
	1. Shrap Launcher - The primary fire shoots multiple small rockets at once that have large thorny pieces of metal sticking out. The secondary shoots them similar to that of a rapid-fire chaingun. These rockets don't necessarily "explode", per say.
	2. Powder Cannon - Primary lets you dump gunpowder onto the floor or onto an enemy, and the secondary shoots a rocket that emits a large flame as it passes, setting the powder on fire. Only this rocket can set it on fire.
	3. "Cult" - The Primary shoots a large stinger missile that is designed to perforate multiple targets at once. You'll have to line them up for maximum efficiency. As it pierces, it leaves an acid spray that deals extra damage to those caught in it. Secondary launches a large missile that sprays an area full of flesh-eating acid. This can be frozen to allow passing, or it can be set on fire to become even more destructive, though it rapidly degenerates the goup.
	4. "Siren" - Primary shoots a dark missile which tracks it's targets and emits a powerful flashwave while travelling. Great for damaging large groups of enemies. Secondary launches sticky missiles that emit the same shockwaves after impacting on a surface, combining all the waves' power but at a cost of speed.
	5. Plasuos Rocket Launcher - Primary missile is a regular missile fitted with the ability to fire plasma bolts at all enemies within range. Secondary missile acts as a hovering beacon for a moment and locks down on a target. Once it does, it dispatches a ring of mini-missiles from inside of the shell after the current target.

	Your name is Caliber. You don't have a story, you just kick ass to the point where your boot smells of fart... or your rocket launcher...

All monsters modified. They all shoot the things you shoot at them. Make them learn the hard way from messing with you.
All of them will explode too, regardless of how little firepower you mow them down with. It won't be the disgusting squelchy stuff, it'll be absolutely physics-defying (yeah right).

Little to no realism! - That's right, things are going to be a bit out of control just because I'm one of those adrenaline junkies.
There will be quite some good effects, and exploding enemies of course.

No new sprites! - Yep, using only stock DooM resources to make this baby fly.
There are custom sounds though, and I don't know if that'll allow me to enter the mutator contest or not. :P

Gun powder bombs! - I won't spoil this for you now, but hopefully I can make this worth dying for. The bigger the pile, the larger the boom.

Weapon mods are pretty great, why the rotten attitude? If you don't like them you don't have to use them.

I take it, Daimon, you've never played the Quake II mod called Disposable Heroes: MAD then.

But let me reassure you that if you're saying so because I'm working on the AEoD mod, it's not going to be even comparable. This is far smaller, no new sprites whatsoever, and the smoke bomb cannon is actually the Shrapnel launcher. ;)

It's something of a "mutator", only there's some custom sounds in it.

Your video should have the song "Disposable Heroes" by Metallica (although it'd need to be longer then). :P

Anyways this looks cool and the "little to no realism" furthers my interest.

You know... That'd probably make a good trailer music piece to throw in. I'll have to find it sometime when it comes down to pre-release...

I'm not usually bent on making trailers longer than 30 seconds, if not a minute. Especially for mods like this since, well, there's not a whole lot of showing except random combat and effects, but hey, I'll try and make it happen.

The little to no realism thing is all about hilarious gibbing explosions that make you want to seek out huge crowds of baddies and blow them all up within a time frame. Good to see it caught some interest. :P

Floating gib remains... I thought of reporting this in case you didnt notice, but by the time you stood in the lift looking above, I figured you did notice.

Now, Im quite impressed to see that it was done not using any new graphics. Never figured that TEXTURES would come this useful :P

Heheh, thanks mate. Yeah I am indeed aware of them. I'm going to try and work with them, and speaking of, I need to report floating gibs in AEoD too (shield parts etc)...

And truth be told, only the gibs are TEXTURES'd. Everything else is DECORATE so far. Thanks to the new A_SetScale ability, I haven't found the need to use TEXTURES when it comes to resizing. Thank heavens for that...

Been struggling with the powder cannon a little but hopefully I may have something to show later today.

Edit: Fixed the gibs, thanks to -NOBLOCKMAP. I can't believe I remembered that from Xaser's Psychic mod...

I think you need more gibs, like gibs of a ludicrous amount. Maybe even keep the gib corpse? I'm pretty sure there are enough random gib sprites in Doom to work with. ;)

Heh, uhh... Have you looked inside doom2's wad to see how many gibs there actually are? Very few.

Yes, I must agree... More gibs! "LUDICROUS!" you say? "ELEPHANT-SIZED" says I!

And to me, there's no fun in leaving corpses. I just like it all explody like a pipe bomb.

You cold spawn more blood splats per "trail particle", in that way it wont look as empty, though it'll be slightly more performance demanding.

Hmm, doesn't seem to affect performance at all on my end. I've set it to spawn extra puffs with only 1/4th chance... though I may change it so the monsters call A_Burst, potentially. Seems to work miracles at times... I'll have to test it some more.

Okay... After making up excuses right and left only to realize my pockets were empty, I'm back to work on this. Now, for real, I should have a video of the new powder cannon coming up.

This bad boy launches a barrel that will only ignite via gunpowder. The barrels are made of bullet-proof titanium-enriched steel, so shooting them won't cause any accidents to happen.

I'm currently working on a screenshot to upload but the internet where I am now is kinda slower than back in my college city's home.
