[WIP][HEXEN RPG]-(formerly MYTH) UPDATED SCREENS 10/25

Ok, I just want to say in my defense that I started having school around the time I gave up on my mod MYTH. I also just reformatted, so yeah. Anyways, I would like to present to you a "remake" of a mod I never finished!

Well, not remake. I'm completely starting new, but with the same style of mapping and general idea of my first mod. You travel around the world, with only a slight influence of guidance from the storyline. You take quests from peasants, collect gold and a very wide range of items, travel through vast expanses of lands and realms such as deserts, snowy wastelands, underground dungeons, etc. The world will be as free roam as possible. A fast travel system will also be in play. pay gold at docks or sky ports, appear somewhere else in the world etc.

Crime system will also be implemented, but it may be implemented in a much less buggier way than my last mod. You do a crime, you pay a fine, go to jail, or resist arrest.

Also, a filler screenshot. This time the first city you should be is in a snowy area. You will also start in a slave ship (No, not like morrowind you herp. Morrowind did not coin the word slave, did it?)

No, I will not have the name MYTH. It's way too generic. And I also will not have the same storyline. It's way too predictable.

Glad to see it's not abandoned. :D

Looks amazing, I'm always looking forward to more rpg-like projects and this one sounds really good.

Hm...i always liked that word MYTH. It's short but....powerful word. :geek:

Looks good. What kind of effects will it have on the gameplay? Closed (and breakable) stores, unavailable NPCs etc.?

Well s of now, I know most cities (if not all) have closed gates during night. this makes fast travelling even more useful than you would think. I was also thinking of closing stores during night, and when stealing you would have a 50% less chance of getting caught. That's all I can really think of, and it'll be hell to implement the stealing part.

Cool! I've always wanted to see something like that in the Doom engine. Really looking forward to a playable demo, hopefully with a glimpse of either the crime or quest system :)
