Before posting your Resource, please make sure you can answer YES to any of the following questions:
Is the resource ENTIRELY my own work?
If no to the previous one, do I have permission from the original author?
If no to the previous one, did I put a reasonable amount of work into the resource myself, such that the changes are noticeably different from the source that I could take credit for them?
If you answered no to all three, maybe you should consider taking your stuff somewhere other than the Resources forum.
I was messing around with recolouring the Baron using GIMP, and I noticed that using the Hue and Saturation option changes the colour of both the chest and the legs at the same time, which can be problematic. I seperated the different coloured bits of the Baron using XWE's time-consuming colour-remap function, so it's easier to recolour each part seperately then overlap them together. Thought I might as well share these, although I'm sure there are easier ways to recolour a Baron
Um, no. But it's pretty simple to do yourself. Just chuck all the sprites on one sheet, open up XWE, and using the colour-remap function remap all the unwanted colours to 4, which is white.
Or use photoshop to select all shades of color by magic wand with zero range and than copy to new layer (I believe GIMP have magic wand too). Or even better - use the selection to make a masked gradient layer and use it to recolor.

I wish I knew what this all meant, I knew there were better ways of doing this

Both PhotoShop ad Paint.net have a magic wand tool which you can select pixels in a similar way that you use the paint bucket. The tool also lets you select those colours across the whole image.
A good paint app should let you use either the magic wand or the paint bucket to recolor all pixels of the same color. In fact, it's a good idea to have any colors in the image arranged in a palette for easy recoloring.
