[Sprite] Female Marine

Post by VenusBot »

Started work on it, didn't finish it. I made one frame. Anyone want to help me complete it? There needs to be a well-made female skin out there.

Although this does look good, there is a topic about one in the makes on the Skulltag forums.

Not to offend the creator of that skin-in-progress, but it's not as accurate in my opinion. I want to create a skin that looks like an exact replica of the male marine, but as a female. Again, not to offend the creator, i'm just saying.

Edit: As well as her left boob looking a little odd.

I didn't really do that much shading on the breasts because if you wanna be realistic (as realistic as you can be with space marines), female armor probably wouldn't differ that much from the male variant. I'm willing to give Crash a bit of leeway because she was designed that way.

The more the merrier, anyways. :)

That sprite looks pretty good actually. Good luck with it.

I think they both look good. Neither are ridiculous "look I'm female because I fight hellspawn wearing kinky boots, knickers and enough armour to cover my titties but expose as much flesh as possible without getting into trouble with the censors" kind of sprites. So, that's fine. There is room for both this one and Marty's IMO.

I'm with Enjay here. And she doesn't look like she'd snap in the middle in a strong wind, due to insufficient waist to handle excessive top weight. I'll commend you for that.

personally I like both your and Marty's try at a female marines, but I'm going to say is "why are you guys making the Brest plate so far out" look at body armor in real life... okay forget that. I'll help you out if i can VB, i just need the base done than i can re edit with more of a doom feel.

Aren't we supposed to be past drooling over pixelated 8-bit sprites? As in, shouldn't ever have been? :P

Yeah, you guys are supposed to be drooling over Mynx from Quake 3, now. :P

I wouldn't mind some of those.

I'm still not quite 100% on what a "female" is.

As opposed to "male", which is written on paper and transported in bags and trucks, while "female" is written on a computer and transferred over the internet. Hey, don't you use a computer? How could you not know this?
