[Released][Zdoom]E1M8:remake, my style

Hello everyone, this is my first project I am showing you.
It is a E1M8 remake that for the moment I am pretty prood of ;)
The map itself is 15-20% done and it uses monster from realm667 as well as textures from the episode 5 recource from nightmare and some of the gothic textures from the gothic team.
My atempt is to make a nice architecture and also create my rooms from scratch.You will also find rooms that are inspired from many other good looking wads.
After the map is done, i might also do the other boss maps(e2m8,e3m8 and e4m8) but it is still not sure, it depends on the sucess of this map and also on the time I have(Im still at school).
Here are a few screenshots for your enjoyment, hope you like them ;)

This is the starting room, the design is inspired by the begining of thunderpeak powerplant but with less details of course:

Here is a door that opens to a platform that will bring you to the actual begining of e1m8(they used to be a 3dfloor since at the begining it was suposed to be a gzdoom/skulltag wad but i prefer taking it off as i want it to be zdoom compatible):

Nova Hear,
I gotta admit, this does look really good. I gotta give you props that this is your first map that your making and especially that your using zdoom features from the start and not starting out with a vanilla map and it looks this good. I will have to keep an eye out for this when its released but of course do not rush perfection, im liking the way this looks....alot!

My only gripe is in the 4th shot that isnt spoilered, the computer panels look a bit strange covering most of the walls. Seems like they should cover less of an area but thats just a one mans opinion. Keep up the great work man and i will definatly look out for this!

P.S. - I vote yes on the other boss maps lol.

@nova: Thx alot for your comment and btw, this isnt my first map,you see i usualy make maps for myself and do not release them to public ;)
Though this looked pretty good so i decided to show the project.And I can tell you that I started my first maps with vannilla and thez didnt look as good as this one.

As I speak, a few rooms have been added to the map like the star room(of course, an e1m8 remake without star room=fail), the lift in the circular area and other small rooms.

Right, as I said befor, here are a few new screenshots ;)

I might have one question though:
You see I made a teleportinsector lift and it works fine, no problems here, the thing is I added sound sequence to it to make it a little more realistic and here comes the problem:
The sound sequences plays just fine although we can here the original floor sound in the background at the same time, how do you make that floor sound disapear?
I know its possible because in thunderpeak, vader managed to do a lift that works just like me and he also managed to get rid of the floor sound in the background.
If anyone could help me with this problem, it would be nice ;)

Oh and I would like your opinion concerning the sky, do I keep it like that or do I change it?

YAWN I'm sick of remakes but these are awesome my friend I like screenie 4 I hope there will be some new enemies that will just blow all our minds maybe a new cacodemon varient sprite you draw yourself eh kiddo?

If your elevator consists of multiple sectors, make sure to place a sound sequence thing in every sector of the lift. That should do the trick!

Hum kk, if you want, though you will have to do the sprites too cause well I suck at spriting too ^^
I only do maps and also graphics and stuff, sprites, i dont do.
Although if you want to do the decorate and the sprites, i dont mind go ahead, I wont forget to credit you in the readme file ;)
