You don't need to ask permission from me before you use them, because I'm putting these out to the public with the intent of letting other people use them - but you MUST credit me. That's all I ask. :P

Well, damn. I'd love to take a look at the new tunes, but your website won't work at all for me -- I get a 403 Forbidden. :(

Gah. I honestly don't know how my site handles petty things like direct links. Keep trying is all I can offer for now, because I know these things work for me and at least a few others.

PL2 map32 music is great. But what name "nobody told me about plutonia" means?

lolbump

I would assume it's a reference to the song "Nobody told me about id". (E2M8, Doom 1)

edit: I forgot to mention, it's a really awesome song, too. The original AND the PL2 version, I mean.

Yeah, that's right - it's a techno remix of that song, which was used in the original Plutonia MAP32. ;)

Oh, and I released a few more midis since I forgot this thread existed. :P

Dimension of Dreams
Unknown Organism
Baron's Province
Great Hall

The last three are for Speed of Doom and it would be appreciated if these weren't used in other WADs until the project releases. Thanks. :)

Some of these will definitely be a good for DE's DM and CTF maps. Thanks :D Nice work. What midi program did you use for these, may I ask?

Then it's not public domain. What you want is probably CC-BY or possibly CC-BY-SA or CC-BY-ND.

Eriance: I use Cakewalk Express 3.02. If you open up one of my midi files it should say so in the track names. :P Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, but it's easy to put a little notice. Creative Commons has a handy license chooser and then you get HTML code that you can just plug in your page.

It's important for some projects to have clearly-defined licenses rather than an informal "you can use it, I guess".

I've thought about that. I'll definitely re-release them in big MIDI Collection in the near future, and perhaps do the same for every 20 songs or so. Some of them need a couple corrections/slight editings, anyway.

I'll do that soon. :)
