I'm working on a Wad named "Guns and roses"...my first wad with hexen format..and its going great!
Heres how it goes, your a marine (Johnson) who worked for his boss.. but the city started getting attacked by demons, and you got to use your strategy to stop them theres more story in the wad i just don't feel like making one up xD
There will be tough boss fights, puzzling puzzles, and Awesome music.
Btw, there will be some "Afrit's tower" stuff in it.
That inculdes
-Awesome new blood
-Many new monsters
-New sky textures! (Yay!)
-and a few other junk lol

The UAC always continues to amaze me with their new technology. However, I don't really see the point in them using their science to create doors bigger than the actual structures.

Just some things:
Spoiler:
Screenshot 1:Create a cropped version of the SPCDOOR texture that is 72 units high and use that instead
Screenshot 2:Generally fine for a new mapper. A little more detail would never hurt though
Screenshot 3:Try to find a texture that is better than two bigdoors next to each other
Screenshot 4:Lower the sectors that are ~72 units above the ground to make the texture look better, or find a version more suited for that
Screenshot 5: Move the sector over eight units to better align the ceiling (Or use A Line_AlignCeiling special), and make the hallway 64 or 128 units tall or find a texture that won't be cut off by the floor
Screenshot 6:See above
Screenshot 7:Is that supposed to be the bridge of the ship? Also, it appears there is a wide opening to the outside. That makes no sense at all
Screenshot 8: Upper unpegged will help alot on that wing
Screenshot 9:Does the road just end suddenly? That usually doesn't happen

1. Ok
2. Np
3. Will do!
4. it looks fine to me.
5. Its fine right now
6.
7. That wide opening outside was the door.... opened.
8. Oops!
9. Its like a landing spot for the spaceships
This is like... in the future
(Btw, the screenshots are from the beta version)
It will be alot better then the screenshots seem
EDIT
I just noticed the left wing was thinner then the right...Imma fix that! XD

Do you mind adding more detail? Judging from the screenshot, it looks plain.

Also I love build WAD. I had build 5 or 6 WAD back in 1995 ? when I was in very ill. I start enjoy build WAD and I remember I build one so massive WAD but crash due to very large WAD. Few years ago my WADs was lost by HDD destroyed itself and really heart break nyself.
Only recently I start enjoy building WAD again is so great fun and good hobbies.
I always want mega WAD with 32 levels but don't have time...maybe i should start...

I think the problem here isn't so much the lack of detail as it is the lack of texture variation. Looks to me like you're using way too many grey textures - liven things up a bit with a touch of blue or green once in a while. Maybe add in some potted plants.
