Automap lines missing when original colors are used.
If you start a game with the automap line colors set to original then all lines with the teleport special are invisible (black?) unless you go to the display menu, change automap colors to Zdoom's default and then back to the original. They then appear blue. Pretty sure the original exe didn't differentiate between teleport lines and normal ones.

Heh. It's been like this forever. I've gotten so used to it that every time I start Doom, I always select the map, IDDT-IDDT, press F5 (shortcut to Display Options), and turn "Standard Map colors" off and then back on again. Heh. I've been playing too much Zdoom.
Also, I sometimes noticed that in the original exe, a darker red color was sometimes (very rarely) used to indicate teleport lines. I've always wondered about that.

IIRC it only happens when the teleporter's floor and ceiling are the same height as the sector on the otherside of the teleport line. Since most teleporters's floors are higher than the surrounding floor, it is indeed extremely rare.Xaser wrote:Also, I sometimes noticed that in the original exe, a darker red color was sometimes (very rarely) used to indicate teleport lines.
