Control freeze-up in 0.61
I'm pretty sure this isn't a typical freeze where the program stops responding. Instead, it seems to be a case where ZDoom is locked into a certain keyboard mode and has no way to exit. Reproducing it is simple, just beat a level that has an intermission after it, and while the intermission screen is showing, hit your Talk key. Nothing will appear to happen, but ZDoom is now locked into text input mode, waiting for you to type something and hit enter. Unfortunately, enter seems not to be allowed while viewing the intermission screen, and so you're stuck, unable to bring up the menu, the console, anything. The only way out is to CTRL-ALT-DEL.

We've tried before, King, he never listens.
First off, I WAS recording a demo, and was attempting to make a last-minute comment before ending it. I wasn't sure if I could talk on the intermission screen, but I figured it'd be harmless to give it a try. Imagine my surprise when I found out that not only could I not talk, I had frozen all my controls and had to CTRL-ALT-DEL, losing the demo I'd recorded.
This needs to be fixed, kthx.

Heh, I'd have thought you guys would have all learnt from previous threads by now that this arguing is pointless
I mean, this is pretty much how every previous similar argument has gone:
Guy1: "ZDoom crashes/lock-ups if I try to do such-and-such."
Guy2: "Don't do such-and-such then."
Guy1: "That's a simply idiotic line of reasoning. This problem is trivial to solve, and as such it should be fixed right this second!"
Guy3: "Why? Like Guy2 said, just don't do it."
Guy4: "Shut up you. Guy1 is right."
(several pages later, after much questioning of everyone involved's IQ, parenatage, sexuality and the like)
Randy: "Fixed"
