F_SKY1 trouble
Upon more testing, i realized that if the F_SKY1 flat (the one used to show the sky) is used on a wall, it wont work.

that's normal behavior since floors and walls in doom are entirely different (I could explain it if you want, but it's probably not overly exciting). If you want to have a sky on the wall, you can use the sky window effect: http://zdoom.org/zdkb/skywindow.html
But it would be fun if we could put a sky in, let say, a polyobject: http://forum.zdoom.org/viewtopic.php?t=1756
After all, you did Void, yes or no?

It might be interesting to be able to do things like this, but I don't think there'd really be that much use for it, especially when you can use already existing tricks to accomplish the same effect.
If you were to be able to put a sky texture on one of those rotating polyobjs, I doubt it would look as it exciting as you think. Basically, you'd be looking at a hole showing the sky through it, and the hole would widen and narrow when the button was pressed. (It wouldn't appear to rotate at all)
