Kriegspfad is a GZDoom / LZDoom gameplay mod based on WildWeasel's Nazis! (ww-nazis-v2)
Taking inspirations to WW2 themed games, such as Return to Castle Wofenstein, Medal of Honor, among many others.
Spoiler: Weapons
Knife - A simple melee weapon, useful for saving ammo.
Luger P08 - Your starting weapon, along with the knife. 8 rounds capacity, uses 9 mm Parabellum. Walther P38 (replaces chainsaw) - "Reskin" of the Luger P08 for some people.
This weapon uses a silencer.
M1897 Trench Gun (replaces shotgun) - Nightmare of the germans during WW1. 6 rounds capacity, uses 12 Gauge Brass Shells. Browning Auto-5 (replaces supershotgun) - A powerful semi-automatic shotgun. 5 rounds capacity, uses 12 Gauge Brass Shells.
Maschinenpistole 40/1 (can replaces chaingun) - A experimental double-magazine version of the iconic Wehrmacht machine gun. 64 rounds capacity, uses 9 mm Parabellum.
Alt-Fire switch the mags. STEN Mk II (can replaces chaingun) - An extremely simple british submachine gun. 32 rounds capacity, uses 9 mm Parabellum.
This weapon uses a silencer.
Gewehr 43 (can replaces rocketlauncher) - The german response to the russian SVT-40. 10 rounds capacity, uses 7,92 x 57 mm Mauser.
Alt-Fire enable/disable rifle grenades. Karabiner 98 kurz (can replaces rocketlauncher) - The iconic Wehrmacht bolt-action rifle. 5 rounds capacity, uses 7,92 x 57 mm Mauser.
Alt-Fire enable/disable the scope.
Flammenwerfer 35 (replaces plasmarifle) - A weapon of terror. Uses fuel as ammo.
ÜberMaschinenGewehr 34 (replaces BFG9000) - An experimental weapon. Uses 7,62 mm rounds as ammo.
Bundle of TNT - Once on the ground, this explosive is shootable, so be careful.
User 2 increase the timer to 5 seconds, up to 45 seconds.
Model 24 Stielhandgranate
User 1 enable/disable bigger grenades at use.

1938 Latour (can replaces the Soulsphere) - A wine bottle, heals 25 Hp at each gulp.

Plates of cold meal can be heat up with the flammenwerfer 35.
Congrats on the release! I've been enjoying the set so far and have no more feedback to offer for the moment. Looking forward to the next updates.

The flame thrower is quite lethal, turning everything to a charcoal black.
It's the first one I have seen to do that.
This gun
has no sound when firing.

This death effect doesn't apply to explosive barrels, LostSoul, PainElemental, CyberDemon, SpiderMastermind and custom monsters who have their own death by fire.

Bug Report: The Kar 98 rifle grenade is usable as long as you have regular ammo even when you're out of rifle grenades.

Something to note, the Sten is an open bolt gun, so you might wanna have the bolt on the back instead of the front for its idle frames.

I'm very glad we and the boys at the bungalow could test it out and get back to you, so you could show it to the community. Other than what the reports up here are pointing, i have zero issues and i'm eager to see more.

Fixed. Also fixed a bug where you could make a reload animation on the Kar98k if you doesn't have ammo (weapon and reserve).

I agree, but that how the sprite was made. Maybe I can edit the idle frame.

Oh wow, holy smoke! So this is basically the enhancement on Weasel's Nazis! weapons. Feels definitely like they're on nazi-slaughtering spirit and i love the every single sprite improved, hence the smooth animations!
Spoiler: Hoy hoy Feedback's here
- Knife is silent. Slashing either the wall or flesh it plays none. Also hand rising animation needs to be seamless, since it pops out of nowhere.
- Luger and the Walter has the exact same damage. Luger has the high accuracy, but so does the Walter with suppressor on. Also Luger's firing sound is too quiet.
- Trench gun is extremely versatile to the point it trivializes Browning Auto 5. Basically you can fire it way faster than Auto 5 itself if you have a good trigger finger.
- I wish Browning Auto 5's reload finish animation without dryfire was a bit quicker.
- Bullet Casings don't play their bouncing sound effect.
- MP40's mag has like 64 bullets for some reason, making bullet HUD icons overlapping each other.
- I also wish i could throw Hand Grenades with dedicated hotkey. And how can i throw the big one? Even though the grenades are full i still can't throw it.
- When i select the Time Bomb, the seconds mode text keep blocks my screen. Just showing it once would be enough.
- Kar98k still generates muzzle flash when zoomed.
- So Rifles replaces Rocket Launcher. That's good, except i don't see any explosives when spawned.
- Healing items would display pickup message like Pickup_Health_S, Pickup_Health_M and Pickup_Health_L.
- While i do love the design of new Venom Gun and the damage it has, i honestly think it needs more visual oomph. Big muzzle flash, fast rate of fire and etc, you get the idea.
So far, so good. Real good! However, some features like i mentioned need work. And of course it'll certainly get better and maybe BoA dev team would ask ya a permission to borrow the weapon sprites. Who knows! Lastly, please go tell Ninlhil that they've done a splendid job enhancing the weapon sprites. They deserve more support!

Just to situate CaptainJ and other players, this MP40 is meant to be the MP40/I, which is basically a double mag MP40.

works basically like a jungle taped magazine; after you empty one, just slide the other one nice and easy. German soldiers however found it to be too heavy, so it didn't really had a long life.

I imagine one can have the MP40's dual magazine thingy can be shown to be a deliberate thing by having the HUD smoothly transitioning the background ammo line to the foreground while you swap magazines. I don't know the amount of coding such an endeavor might take though, so, the other obvious way might be to just put the name on the HUD. I know ol' MoHAA atleast provides weapon names on the HUD.

I just have to say, I've played a handful of WWII mods at this point, and this one by far has the best looking sprites!

Updated the mod with fixes and new sprites.
Also, Happy Birthday to Wolfenstein 3D which celebrates its 30th anniversary.
About grenades and dynamite, bind your keys to throw them.
"User_1" enable/disable the use of "bigger" grenades, which consumes more ammo.
"User_2" increase the timer of the dynamite to 5 seconds, up to 45, before resetting the timer to 5 seconds.
