HEXEN64 MUSIC PACK.

Post by HuoYan »

For a while I have found two music packs for Hexen featuring the fairly unique soundtrack of the N64 version. The tiny detail? Both have missing soundtracks (Dungeons and Desolate Garden). And the music pack created by AcidGlow for the Doomsday Engine is long gone. However, I recalled that I downloaded Acidglow music rips before the shutdown of his site, so I did some digging and lo and behold! I did have them, so I decided to put them together and came up with this HEXEN64 music pack, which addresses the issue of the missing music from the current packs available.

Credits for this go firstly, of course, to Kevin Schilder, the main composer of both Heretic and Hexen titles.
Then, to those who with their efforts paved the way for this small effort of mine:

-AcidGlow for uploading the tracks and crafting the music pack for DoomsdayEngine.
-SlyMcFlyGaming and TripleS, attempters at bringing Hexen64 music to the pc version.

Also! If you want to listen to the tracks out of the game, you can check Samus345 youtube channel (and I think AcidGlow still has the videos doing a comparison between soundtracks).

The music pack is in ZIP format, but it works the same way as usual (drag and drop or via a launcher, like ZDL).
