Contrary to popular belief, we are not all-knowing-all-seeing magical beings!

If you want help you're going to have to provide lots of info. Like what is your hardware, what is your operating system, what version of GZDoom/LZDoom/whatever you're using, what mods you're loading, how you're loading it, what you've already tried for fixing the problem, and anything else that is even remotely relevant to the problem.

We can't magically figure out what it is if you're going to be vague, and if we feel like you're just wasting our time with guessing games we will act like that's what you're really doing and won't help you.

fatal error text is too small for me

Post by bimshwel »

I just installed the version from october, apparently I had not updated since version 4-10-0 in april 2023. I did this midway through attempting to correct my latest code errors, wondering if maybe I was trying to use a feature not yet implemented in the old version, but now the text griping about what I did wrong is substantially smaller than before, so that i need to take a screenshot and zoom in to read it effectively.
Is there an internal setting to change the scale on this? I found one for the console but it did not affect the reprimand size.
I would also prefer to see the text and background as the game is loading like before; now I just see empty blackness with a vague red line prior to the game starting or crashing (or maybe it's just this bug). Please forgive me if this was all explained a few versions ago! I tend to bounce between projects at irregular intervals. I appreciate that you still support windows 7!
