GZDoom 4.12.2 Crashing on map start.

GZDoom keeps crashing on map start on almost any new mod I use. This doesnt happen with GZDoom 4.10 or earlier.
Effected mods include:
Brutal Doom
Project Brutality
COD Weapons
Only older mods like corruption cards are RLarsenal are uneffected.

Windows 7
AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT
AMD Ryzen 5 2600
What am I doing wrong? Plz halp.

Update:
QCDE 2.7, Doom infinite 0.978.6, and Brutal doom v22 beta test 3 will crash when trying to start GZDoom. Cant even get to the main menu.

Just saw this right after I opened a bug report for
likely possibly the same issue:
Entering a map loaded from a folder crashes gzdoom above 4.11.3a
For me (and at least one other user), it crashes when a map that was loaded
from a folder is entered. Doesn't matter if it's a mod or a simple Doom 2 map.

I assume that PB-0_1_0-alpha.pk3 refers to Project Brutality.
Anything with alpha in its name is suspect.
Try the latest version from
https://github.com/pa1nki113r/Project_Brutality (ca 500MB) to see if you still have the same trouble. It runs an my computer without any glitches.

The version Im using is actually newer than the one you recommended.

Also, the one you recommended requires a doom runner to use and Im not into that.

I downloaded it and ran it with GZDoom versions from 4.10.0 on
GZDoom 4.10.0 reported
A version with ZScript version 4.11.0 is required, but your copy of GZDoom only supports 4.10.0. Please upgrade!

So I download the latest dev build of gzdoom 4.13pre130, extracted it to a new folder, put a copy of doom2 and project brutality, and tried to run it. It still crashed.
"A version with ZScript version 4.11.0 is required, but your copy of GZDoom only supports 4.10.0. Please upgrade!"
I dont understand, do I have to download a new version of Zscript separately from gzdoom? Where do I get that.
Every version of gzdoom after 4.10 crashes out with most mods. What am I doing wrong?

Update: I got it working! When I first start GZdoom 4.13pre130, On the prelaunch startup screen I go to options and change the Rendering API to Vulkan or OpenGL ES.
For some reason OpenGL always crashes. Not sure if its a problem with my comp or GZDoom, also not sure how to test it. But definitely something is up with the OpenGL API Renderer.

Just a quick update
I always use Vulkan for the game play, but because of your problem with OpenGL I selected that just now.
Still no problem

I got it working on 4.13pre130 but I dont see the prelaunch startup screen on any other version of gzdoom I used. Is the startup screen only for the prerelease versions or is it coming to 4.13 proper?
In the former case how do I make it use Vulkan without that startup screen?
