I can't "open with" pk3 or wad files with gzdoom.exe

I can't "open with" pk3 or wad files with gzdoom.exe

I don't know what the hell I did but when I can't open pk3 or wad files with gzdoom.exe

When I select "open with" and then gzdoom.exe, it does nothing, goes back to the selection screen of windows to choose an application to open the file with.

I had the folders like this

port/gzdoom-bin-3-1-0-x64
port/gzdoom-bin-3-1-0a-x64

I was using gzdoom-bin-3-1-0a-x64 and when I took a screenshot I realized that it was getting saved in gzdoom-bin-3-1-0-x64, so I dont know what the hell I did but now I cant open the damn thing with gzdoom.exe anymore

Im using windows 7

Windows' handling of double-click actions has only gotten more broken over the years. I'd suggest installing a launcher like ZDL, ZDE, or Rocket Launcher instead, and setting that up as your Open With instead.

Yep it seems somehow it glitched due the two folders and now it gets confused and doesnt accept any gzdoom.exe for some reason.

Anyway can you point me to the official links of these launchers? I dont want to download malware from the wrong place. Also what is the best launcher from these 3?

Find their respective project threads in our Software and Ports subforum.
Also what is the best launcher from these 3?
That's down to personal preference.
