A demo for a currently incomplete Doom2 WAD. The full WAD will have about 10 or 12 levels. This demo includes the first level, but six others have been made so far.

Re: PAIN ILLUSION (demo)
Thanks for trying it out!

Ach! sorry about that. As I said though, it's only a demo, and there's much more to come from this WAD.
by the way, did the custom music work?
Thank you again!

Re: PAIN ILLUSION (demo)
Nothing to apologise for.
I was just commenting that it was minimal - and, by that, I was really referring to the map. It's not much more than one big room with (almost) the same textures throughout, the same lighting and so on. So, it would help if you added some variety there to make it more interesting as you work on it more.
Yes, the music worked, but it also means that you have a 25mb file containing a map that only occupies 12kb of that space (less than 4 if you zip it). Both the title screen and music tracks are far bigger than the map. It's not that big a deal these days but, on seeing a 25mb file, it led me to expect there would be a lot more to the mod. I appreciate that it's a work in progress though.

Re: PAIN ILLUSION (demo)
Sorry for the late response
will probably make the level 1 map a little big bigger. I'm also planning on changing some of the sounds and monster sprites
although I am also working on some other Doom 2 projects, PAIN ILLUSION will still be the main thing, and the only non-joke/novelty WAD

Re: PAIN ILLUSION (demo)
Cool. Thanks for the update. Please don't let anything I said put you off. You've obviously got plans for the mod. So, it will be interesting to see how it develops. Most importantly, I hope you enjoy making it.
