I was investigating something else that ultimately turned out to be fine in Raze, but I discovered something else in the process.
The cutscenes are not displaying properly anymore, similar to what happened in the other games after the backend migration. The black bars on the sides are gone now and I can still see my game while they're playing. Best observed on the Zilla cutscene on MAP20.
And an old bug has also resurfaced in the process, the sound effects from the cutscenes are still playing on the end level stats screen. I can still hear Zilla's jet there for instance. This was supposed to be fixed quite a while ago but it must have been reintroduced after the backend changes.
Update: While browsing voidpoint.io's issue tracker, I noticed that this is something present in VoidSW as well now, so it was probably inherited from there. Apparently this may be due to the screen no longer fading to black as it did in vanilla, and instead the Zilla cutscene just plays after a few seconds of waiting without that happening.
