Looks like the toggle has no effect in SW.
I've been warping between levels and Wang still talks when the option is set to OFF.

That switch is a Duke only thing right now. Of course with Wang talking this much it makes sense to activate it here as well - SW's player speech sounds are all clearly tagged so it is doable.

Too bad some funny lines have gone unused though. While browsing through an extracted voice lines archive I noticed some gems - such as "You drive like a baboon in heat!" rofl. BTW SWP has the option too, simply called "Talking", but curiously VoidSW does not. I think Redux has it too but I'll have to double-check.

VoidSW is not based on SWP, so it never got all its options. Both are based on JFSW as a common ancestor but they branched off at different points.
