Okay so it seems some ambient sound effects do play now in today's master, but they still aren't fully fixed.
For instance, "Emergency Room" from Twin Dragon still has missing sounds, notably the ambulance sfx that should be heard at the beginning of the map, and "Toxic Waste Facility" is still missing the forest sfx at the start.

This case will now work. But keep one thing in mind: The traffic noise ambients are randomized, the siren is only one of 10 possible choices.

I have also checked every single map in the process, both base game and expansions, and truly, the ambient sounds have been finally fixed .

Maybe the first playing of the sound isn't randomized. I'll have to check for this. But this sound is an intermittent loop which plays different traffic ambience in random intervals.
