SSI File Support - Duke Caribbean and Duke It Out in DC

Post by Master O »

I've brought this issue up with Graf, but I'll post it here anyway so that it's official:

The original CD releases of Duke It Out in DC and Duke Caribbean: Life's a Beach used .SSI files for their respective expansion packs. In Eduke32, simply placing the .SSI files in the same folder (provided you had the duke3d.grp there as well) allows the user to play those expansions.

Please make sure that you add support for these as well.

These are the files I am referring to:

DUKEDC13.SSI
DUKEDCPP.SSI

VACA13.SSI
VACAPP.SSI
VACA15.SSI

It's on the list, but I need to find some free time to implement it. The Blood savegame issue which occupied most of my free time last week was simply a lot more important.

That's fine. I merely wanted this thread here so that it's acknowledged, so you can get to it when you've gotten through your other Raze-related priorities.

Out of curiosity, any update on that?

Sorry, but I haven't been working on this for the last week. And it doesn't look that things may improve on short notice.

No matter whats going on in your life, just make sure you look after yourself during this global crisis we're having at the moment.
