[0.3.4-11-g5d8f00814] [Blood] Wrong enemy death animation
Zombies light up or disappear when killed with shotgun. This is different from the original where gibs always remain and fire animation only shows when using a flare gun, napalm launcher or spray can.

Unable to reproduce this. Using 0.3.4-11-g5d8f00814 with the GOG distribution of One Unit Whole Blood v1.21.

Tried this and got a quick lick of flame when shotgunning one of those zombies. Could you check if this also happens in nBlood?

The effect can be reproduced in NBlood as well.
In BuildGDX I was not able to reproduce it, so this seems to originate in NBlood.
What's important here is that this is only the zombie that's lying still when being spawned.

In that case I assume it's intentional. Thanks for helping. This particular zombie seems to be a bit different from the regular one which spawns walking.
I'm just wondering if this is something BloodGDX changed or that I just had the bad luck not to get this death animation.

Probably BuildGDX being different, the dev has taken upon himself to fix what he considers are bugs in the original. I'm still un-learning what I got used to in that port...

In this case it's hard to say if it is a bug or a feature. It surely doesn't look right. My guess is that it loads the wrong animation sequence file for the deaths.
