Many user have been complaining about having only "1, 2, 3 ... 234, 235, 236" instead of something useful. I've found this on phpBB page.

Definitely! Getting to the middle of a larger thread can be a real pain when there is only an option to go one page forward.

I wouldn't call this a good solution, but it's better than what we have.

Or maybe even a drop-down list ... ?

If anything, its a good solution now. Better to have this so people stop complaining and the process is made easier.

I know a good alternative until something else is done; look in the URL bar of your browser. There should be something like p= and what page you're on. Just put in the number of the page you want to go and hit enter and- magic!

I think it uses this command
and it goes up in 15s, so
Would be pages 2 and 3 respectively. However, it seems you can use any number. It's just that the forum uses 15.

I haven't yet figured out what the colors mean. I've seen threads marked other colors as well.
