Hi i'm new in this forum and i want to ask few questions regarding the rule of using someone else work.

So here is my problem, i like the weapon sprites set from Stronghold on Edge of Chaos from realm 667 like the shotgun, plasma rifle, rocket launcher, etc. (originally from Demon Eclipse) and i really want to use them for my own mod. Is it allowed? Of course the credit always goes to its creator which i believe Eriance/Amuscaria right?

Scalliano from Dooomworld forum told me if this the right forum to ask Eriance/Amuscari permission and i did this because i want to respect other people work for the sake peace of mind.

If Amuscaria is okay with it, then it is indeed allowed. He's pretty active on this forum so it's not like you can't ask. (He'll probably notice this topic before you do, though)

That is the idea. People in doomworld mentioned that Amuscaria is pretty liberal with other people using his work but still it will be the right thing to do to ask him first.

Now if only there is a more direct approach to contact him...

Try now. Just by making that post (your third), you passed the threshold to graduate from a new user to a full user, so it should be enabled now.
