Hello again ZDoom Forums,
As the title states, are their any suggestions/tips/code examples about implementing a damage number system? My intensions would not have it be ultra-customizable, but just simple and functional. Visually, I would want it to appear like the numbers found in Quake Champions (pop out of an enemy on impact, then quickly vanish), but with the ability to either turn them on or off if the player desired to.
So, any ideas?
